Who Makes It Happen

Q.E.D. Transcription Service, Inc. was founded by a transcriptionist.  We are a company that was created to provide excellent medical transcription service.  It may be easy for those who are in the trade to understand what is needed to operate an efficient medical transcription company.  For Q.E.D. to consistently provide a service that is on time and of exceeding quality, our first step was to invest in the people and tools required.  Our company is designed on the belief that reflection of self is expressed in the work you deliver.  A good employee will provide good service to our customer.  That is why we take great care in our staff and employees, the kind of care that starts with their application process.

Transcriptionist

Any person who desires employment with us must pass through a series of tests, interviews, and a training program.  The staff is chosen through a screening and recruitment process that subjects them to various exams prior to hiring.  We also select only highly motivated and qualified individuals.  After being selected, the applicant goes through an initial training period that incorporates both mentoring and quality control of their production.  A quality requirement of more than 98% is required for all employees.  Our QC and management team takes the time to observe and correct all their work.  This process allows us to situate them in a field that best suits their ability.

Production Managers

The Production Manager has a commitment to building customer relations by interacting with the doctors and staff to address any concerns or problems in a hands-on fashion. This gives you a live person to discuss details, issues or request adjustments for any work.  Furthermore, they ensure your work is completed on time.  They are dedicated to the task, day or night.

Quality Control

Any time a transcriptionist feels unsure of a particular section while working on a report, they are required to leave a notation and flag it for the quality control department.  All members of this “QC” team have been selected after careful review of their abilities and quality of work. Typical QC staff members have many years of experience in the Medical Transcription field.  Random quality audits are performed on work prior to it being delivered.  Reports are compared with the dictation itself and verified. This procedure ensures that you receive the utmost in quality and product at all times.

HelpDesk

Monitoring our entire transcription operation is a HelpDesk department that maintains a 24-hour dedication to both customer and employee needs.  If you ever need to contact us, it is assured a staff member will answer your call or be in contact with you in minutes.  They provide the valuable link between you and the transcriptionist.  HelpDesk will handle any of your stat requests, workflow management, and work in sync with our IT staff to handle technical issues.  It is their duty to make sure any call you make with us is resolved with speed and satisfaction.
