Here at QED we employ home-based transcriptionists from across the country for hospital and clinic medical transcription.  From home, each transcriptionist sends completed documents to QED central in Northwest Arkansas.

Once QED central receives the reports, blanks, questions or other comments are reviewed by quality control personnel before the documents are forwarded to the client.

The effect that a transcriptionist has on a facility is often overlooked.  Imagine the effect it would have on a hospital if for one reason or another a transcriptionist did not live up to the expectations of that hospital: valuable medical records would contain errors, billing would be incomplete and, most importantly, patient care would suffer.
